A foundation to improve sustainable lifestyles for the Cincinnati community through Metro. Everybody Rides Metro (ERM) is the first foundation in the nation to be formed by a regional transit authority.
Providing reliable transportation to help those in need connect to jobs, schools, healthcare, and vital human services.
Stories from the Urban Appalachian Council"Carol is in her early 60’s and has breast cancer. She had to do three weeks of radiation treatment at the hospital, and had no way to get there from her South Fairmount home. We gave Carol 15 tokens so she could get to her appointments and complete her treatment for cancer. She has now finished her treatment and is doing well. Without the tokens Carol wouldn’t have been able to complete this part of her treatment. She doesn’t drive, lives on a fixed income and did not have enough funds to purchase transportation, either tokens or a bus pass."
"Lana lives in Lower Price Hill and was recently out of work and job seeking. We helped her with tokens to look for employment. She successfully got a job a Frisch’s and begins her new job this week. She is very excited about her new job and about being able to earn a living. She is also very appreciative of the tokens that she received that enabled her to get a job and create a source of income for herself."
